Tournaments

As we approach the start of Paganello 2010 and Paganello coverage we look back at Paganello 2009 and the finals for all divisions. The fourth (and final) video in our series features and epic finals between UTI (Switzerland/UK) vs Los Ox (USA). Without a doubt both teams were amongst the elite when they entered the tournament. Even though Los Ox were considered an “unknown” team they were considered contendors for the 2009 Paga crown.

Patrick Mooney has sent in details regarding World Junior Ultimate Championships to be held in early August of this year: If you are born in 1991 or later then you are eligible to represent your country at the World Jr. Ultimate Championships in Heilbronn, Germany (Aug 2-7th). I apologize for not getting to this sooner but ONYX appears to already startedtheir tryout process. The first tryout camp was at the end of January on the 23rd and the next one is on February 6th from 1600 till 1900. If you’re interested send an email to: quebecultimate AT gmail DOT com. News of tryouts filters in slowly but surely. Thanks to all captains that are sending information in. It seems that Quebec is taking the lead in terms of organization and prepping for Prague. More details will follow but so far RIP tryouts are planned for March 13th and 14th from 1900 till 2100 each night.
