Thanks to MODS and the ED (Corey) iamultimate.com has been offered the opportunity to stream Canadian Nationals Live on Sunday August 16th from Winnipeg.

Why so much?!
I will update soon, have been quite busy with ensuring that I’m ready for Nationals. Eating, running, throwing, and general fitness cuts quite a bit into blogging and media management. Steve Trainor has posted a quick blurb on London Calling at his blog and since I’m heading there this weekend I’ll provide a brief on it tomorrow.

As you can see the site has a new look and a logo that’ll be making the rounds and perhaps ending up on a disc in the future.

Mixed Up 2009 Quick Update
A quick update with results that I’ve heard of from players at the tournament, Liquid lost to ONYX 10-8 with the “potential for Universe”. They had a rough day on Saturday but managed to win all their games. Liquid also defeated RIP (handily I’ve been told) to continue their dominance from TUF. ONYX continues their Mixed Up rivalry with Liquid with this victory (they defeated Liquid in the 3/4 game last year at Mixed Up).
Liquid should hang onto first from the east as they beat RIP and are likely to be seeded 2nd, behind TFP, going into CUC.

Alright alright…
I’ll post already! Thanks for all the feedback about the broadcast last weekend (thanks to Trainor for making it go quite smoothly) as well as comments on the blog/blag in general. Now then, what’s to be said about this upcoming weekend? Mixed Up is on and Steven Trainor has coverage on his blog.
I’ve decided to take a break this weekend and will instead work on fitness, some flying time, and some much needed work so that I may find the spare time to work on the broadcast system ahead of Nationals (yes, it’s likely that you’ll be able to watch the finals of Nationals live on here).
This is turning out to be a boring post so I’ll give you my thoughts on Mixed Up and the NY Invite.

Ett Samtal
One of the reasons I started this blog was to share conversations with friends around the world. I’ve been fortunate to attend amongst the best tournaments in the world and as I continue to attend more and more I’ll meet more interesting people.
This first conversation is with Kim Modig of Sweden. I first met Kim in 2008 in Rimini. I’d spent the better part of the week on the beach playing with local teams when on Wednesday I found a group of young gents doing very silly things on the beach. They were running huck drills, juggling discs, throwing a disc into the wind and then throwing themselves after it, horsing around, and in general starting Paganello as early as they could. This young team was Tailspin from Sweden. We joked around on the beach and threw the disc for a bit before heading our separate ways late in the afternoon.

Friday blues…
A few more hours of anticipation before a hot and humid weekend here in Southern Ontario. Of course that could mean thunderstorms which could mean delays at London Calling (this weekend).
