Now a word from…
Coach G-Master Wang passed this onto us with regards to his experience at CUC with OVERDRIVE (2nd in Juniors):
OverDrive played inspired ultimate over three days. The sun is shining and we were able to drive through that West Coast Reign and come out the other side with a silver medal. It was OD ALL DAY!
Thanks to Moondoggies, Lotus and MONSTER for your vocal support! But just remember, as the coach, I get 10% for every player you sign to a contract.
In addition, BIG THANK YOUs go to the Toronto Ultimate Club for your support; to the parents who helped advise, chaperone and drive, Joe, Pete, Diana, Steve, Jim, Corinne, Terry, Christine, and Dave. And finally to our secret weapons, Carla Difilippo and Evan Phillips for your involvement in training the future All Stars of Ultimate.
May the force be with you,
G-Master Wang.

Moondoggies – Day 3
Today was a day where we proved that we wanted another day of Ultimate. That we could take on those that stood in our way. That we would play against damn good teams and win.

CUJO – Day 3 of Play
Heading into day 3, CUJO sat with a 2-4 record and was battling for 9th place. Our goal at the beginning of the tournament was to make quarters so we wanted to finish at least top 8. Based on the schedule, we were going to face the 13th, 14th and 15th place teams – not a schedule we wanted since it meant we were going to play X2 again and because it meant that we weren’t going to be challenged at all.

Photos update
Hello readers! As the software I use for editing photos on my laptop refuses to start and I feel that my energy could be better put into “partying it up” photos by Ed Kung, Jon Hines, and Lee Gonzalez will wait until my return to be uploaded. Thank you for your understanding of my party needs.

ROY – Day 3
Ultimate can be a very frustrating game. It’s so easy to be inconsistent in it, which can be painful. ROY is a very inconsistent team.

ROY – Day 2
Well that was interesting. ROY is an interesting team.
Let me just say to start that I was entirely wrong on my prediction but right in my reasons to predict it.

Live Schedule for Saturday
Last night I ran a test from the press box (many thanks to the TD Damien for that) and we’re looking good to do a broadcast today starting at 1530. While we are broadcasting live at this time the broadcast today is considered as a test for tomorrow and there will be technical glitches along the way.
Masters final will start at 1545 ET and Juniors at 1800 ET.
The camera may be on but not moving prior to the Masters final.
