A very good summary of the tournament. I would have to say that, in the Firebird-ROY game, along with the spectacular defensive plays there were equally spectacular miscues. I felt that ROY battled hard and earned a well deserved spot. Firebird will definitely be looking forward to meeting them again in Sherbrooke.

Also, in terms of spirit, while there can often be extreme differences of opinion in Open division games, I thought that teams conducted themselves with a much higher level of respect and decorum than in the past. While bad calls and sidelines up in arms do occur, I noticed that this time around all teams were very good at keeping their own sidelines from jumping into the discussions and letting players settling things by playing Ultimate. It made the hard fought games enjoyable regardless of the outcome.
